The Network

Assabil coordinates a network of more than 20 public libraries throughout Lebanon. We conduct workshops and training sessions for those who work in these libraries to strengthen their commitment to the principles of public libraries:
• the public library provides its services to everyone
• the public library shall in principle be free of charge
• the public library should allow members of the public to borrow materials free of charge
• the public library does not practice ideological, political, or religious censorship

There are currently more than 20 libraries in the Assabil network of libraries.
